Arusha → Serengeti
Depart Arusha early and travel through the scenic landscapes of northern Tanzania. Enter the Serengeti for your first game drive, with opportunities to see lions, elephants, zebras, wildebeest, giraffes and other wildlife. Enjoy dinner and an overnight stay at a budget campsite.
Serengeti → Ngorongoro
tart with an early morning game drive when wildlife is particularly active. Continue exploring the Serengeti before enjoying a picnic lunch and an afternoon game drive. Later, travel towards the Ngorongoro Conservation Area for dinner and overnight camping.
Ngorongoro Crater → Arusha
Descend into the Ngorongoro Crater for a memorable morning game drive. Look for lions, buffalo, zebras, wildebeest, hyenas, hippos and, with luck, the endangered black rhino. Enjoy a picnic lunch before beginning your journey back to Arusha. Getting there
The safari starts in Arusha with a drive to Serengeti National Park. After exploring the Serengeti, continue to the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. On Day 3, descend into the crater before driving back to Arusha.
